A Nordic photo exhibition with works on the theme of Believe will take place outdoors at Hanaholmen’s Art Park (Hanasaaren’s Taidepuisto) showcasing a group exposé of 12 Nordic photographers and a solo exhibition of emerging Swedish photographer Carl-Mikael Ström in Gallery Hanaholmen. .

The Nordic Village supports emerging and groundbreaking Nordic photographers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Estonia.

For the group and solo exhibitions, the Nordic artists get selected through a jury of photography professionals and curators responsible for the festival’s open call contest. The theme in 2022 is Believe. The Nordic Village expo will be set up in the Art Park of Hanaholmen – Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre. The exhibition is outdoors and accessible 24/7.

The highlight of the Nordic Village exhibition is a Nordic seminar with established visual artists, gallerist, photography teachers, photo editors and book publishers who will be organised on September 9, 2022.

The Nordic Village is a talent platform fostered by Helsinki Photo Festival to support emerging and groundbreaking Nordic photographers in Finland and internationally. The fifth edition of the festival will take place July 7th-October 2nd, 2022. The exhibition is made possible with the support of the Espoo City and Aktiastiftelsen i Esbo-Grankulla.

Gallery Hanaholmen presents a solo exhibition of Swedish photographer Carl-Mikael Ström.

The Helsinki Photo Festival (#HelPhoto) is an annual event showcasing Nordic and international photography in the Greater Helsinki area.

Helsinki Photo Festival is a visual arts event focused on photography opening for the public July 7 and ends September 30. The fourth edition on the theme Fearless is exhibited in the whole metropolitan area. The event is held annually and brings a new art experience to Greater Helsinki.
