Marja Saleva (b. 1975) is a Finnish visual artist and photographer living in Helsinki. She has worked as a journalist for several years before getting involved with photography. She studied photography at the Turku Arts Academy and graduated in 2013. Before that, she finished her Master’s Degree in Social Sciences at the University of Turku in 2001. In recent years she has been working on a personal art project titled “He is so obsessed with me”. The work is about the life of a single and childless woman around her forties. At the moment the work exists in two versions: A book (2013) and an online story (2017). The third version is in progress. She had my first solo exhibition A Room With Cozy Memories, Creepy Calculations For The Future And Some Pizza in Helsinki in 2018.
