Vibrant Days
Filled with the feeling of having the whole world in your hands and at the same time feel it slip through your fingers. You want to freeze time but all you do is pushing forward, you fill your life with all that it has to offer. But it’s in the moments in between all that, it hits you, the uncertainty of where you are heading. You are suddenly filled with doubt but it is easier to just keep on going and keep telling yourself that you are still young. Gustafsson was 20 years old when he took the first images of this series.

These pictures were of the closest people around him, his friends. “We were all searching, craving to experience. We were drawn to each other, joined together in this context because we were in the same stage of life. Partying, relationships, boredom, sex, anxiety, love, friends, sorrow and encounters. Everything that we have had the opportunity to experience and also been forced to live through. This is about me and about us. I will always remember these vibrant days.”
