Living and working in between Gothenburg/London. My ongoing artistic practice starts with my personal experience and deals with explorations and examinations of human relationships. I use photography as a way to verify my own existence, to see myself, and my evolution in relation to others. The mix of staged and unstaged photographs aims to explore the indeterminate borderland between fictive and documentary photography, evoking questions about what is “real”. It is the personal, the private life that is depicted and presented to the world, and the boundary between the private and public is blurred out. The question is where the secret, the private, begins and where it ends. Is anything private anymore? These are the things that interest me. And both those worlds, the private and the public, are connected, especially within photography.
