The Helphoto team is proud to present to the public a third edition of their international visual arts event, Helsinki Photo Festival 2020. The festival, organized from July 7th to September 30th, will attract photo enthusiasts to exhibitions of 58 international and Nordic photographers spread all over the City of Helsinki. Helsinki Photo Festival will be organized from July 7 to September 30, despite the current unfortunate situation with COVID-19. Our theme for 2020 is Trust, a vital cornerstone for every society in challenging times like now. The call for submissions is open until April 23rd and we have already received a number of outstanding works from all over the world.
Helsinki Photo Festival invites all artists and photographers from all over the world to submit their work(s) for this year’s festival theme Trust. We aim to select +40 artists works to exhibit in solo- and group exhibitions during the festival period, July 7th-September 30th 2020.
Night of the Arts, August 15th – Helsinki Photo Festival has opened their main exhibition at one of the most iconic historic warehouses in Helsinki, the Old Customs House / Katajanokan Tulli- ja Pakkehuone (entrance from Katajanokanlaituri). The theme for this year is “Anarchy”, and the exhibition presents the works of 50 winning finalists, including 25 winners of the Best Image competition and a multimedia presentation of 24 shortlisted artists from all over the world.
